mmm mmm goooood
I just pulled the most delicious turkey that ever gobbled out of my oven. Tonm was a 21 lb. boy from new jersey, and he cooked up in like 5 hrs which is amazing. He just came out - and is sitting on the counter waiting for his potato and stuffing companions who I thought I'd have a lot more time to prepare - and he is PERFECT.
We had the obligatory thanksgiving at both my parents house and my inlaw's house this year. WE have two every year but we also don't get crap for leftovers usually. My mom always gives us some but it never lasts. And xmas this year - god. We have to go not only to Mike's sister's house which is typical and also nice, but since she isn't speaking to Mike's mother, we also have to make a separate journey to his mother's house and then my mother's house too. And again I doubt we'll end up with turkey for the week. So I'm supplementing this week. 21 lbs all to ourselves! And gravy and from the drippings, and stuffing that got a wee bit soggy so it's rebrowning in the oven now. It's gonna be fabulous.
