what is this insanity?
I went peeping at LJ cuz I haven't in a long time...they want you to register your age with them now or else you have to click through a link warning and a button certifying you are over a certain age to view the suspected content.

They are obsessed. They're as bad as the company I work for (vicariously) 15 character passwords, 5 minutes time outs on screen savers. All in the name of protection.

I say just expose the kids to everything early then it wont be such a fucking shock later when they find out the whole world isn't christian and pristine.

I say let the information be free because you can't stop it.

They are such idiots, dumb dumb dumb.

I'm not 100% in agreement about exposing kids to everything, though I did just explain the word "wank" to my seven-year-old. But yanno, I supervise her online time. My responsibility, not LJ's.

hahaha, wank.
exACTly. Your choice, your kid. And when you decide it's your kid's choice, it's their choice then. That's the only thing that makes sense to me.
