So everybody took the news well. Mike is happy, and to those of you who were worried, we've seen no further evidence of shenanigans on his part. He's taking an interest and already being a good dad. My mom cried and carried on for 17 min on the phone, called everyone she knew and showed the ultrasound around at school. Friends are all quite happy, even heard from one friend that I haven't in a year and a half, a simple congrats and well wishes. That was nice. Nice to know he still cares enough to poke his head in once in a while even if our friendship kinda crumbled. My employers are behind us and willing to do anything they can to rearrange our schedules after the baby is born to let us both stay employed, which is awesome of them. Nice to be appreciated. First ultrasound looks good, got another appt at the end of the month for a ton more blood work, another ultrasound in July to check for abnormalities b/c of my mother's first child dying of a heart problem at 5 weeks. So....yeah. Status: excellent.
Oh except I get the hiccups like 2,672 times a day. Whats up with that?

Yay for happy family and friends and cooperative employers! I hope it all goes smoothly. I became weirdly sensistive to smells when I was pregnant.
